Thanks for a Great 2025 Season!
It's November, and the Emerson House is officially closed for the season. We look forward to staying in touch with you on our blog, The Lyceum, and our Facebook page this winter—celebrating events in the Emersons’ lives and sharing more about their friends, family, and Concord home. The house will reopen for tours in April 2026.
Thank you to the nearly 3,000 individuals from around the world who visited and supported the Emerson House and RWEMA during this remarkable 2025 season. This year, we offered a spring garden tour; hosted a play in the barn; and exhibited never-before-seen collections to celebrate the new biography Emerson’s Daughters: Ellen Tucker Emerson, Edith Emerson Forbes, and Their Family Legacy, with four special tours led by the author Kate Culkin. We are grateful to her for generously sharing her time, expertise, and enthusiasm to highlight Ellen and Edith, and to tell the Emerson House’s story in a new way. Whether you joined a tour, attended our special programming, browsed the bookshop, made a donation, or followed and engaged with our content virtually, your presence means so much to all of us!
You’ve helped make a wonderful and memorable season and it’s heartening to see that Ralph Waldo Emerson’s ideas and ideals continue to inspire so many. Thanks to each and every one of you for your interest and support, and for contributing to our continuing story!
